Dr. Markus Ternes - Max-Auwaerter Prize 2008

Dr Markus Ternes (PhD EPFL 2006) has won the Max-Auwaerter 2008 prestigious prize of the Austrian Physical Society in recognition of the qallity of his thesis effected in the Laboratory of Physics at Surfaces: Scanning tunneling spectroscopy at the single atom scale.
This award has been given on the 28th September in Leoben during the annual meeting of the Austrian Society of Physics. Nowadays, Dr Ternes is working at IBM, Almaden (USA).
