In the heart of the underground laboratory of Mont Terri in St-Ursanne (JU), the RTS interviewed Dr. Alessio Ferrari, scientist at the Soil Mechanics Laboratory (LMS) of EPFL. During the interview, the professor praised the laboratory of Mont Terri as the only place in the world that enables scientists to reach specifically targeted rock lithologies, in order to realize full-scale size experiments.
