Italian physicist Fabiola Gianotti will be the next Director-General of CERN. She will be the first woman to hold this prestigious position at CERN.
Fabiola Gianotti has already successfully directed the world’s biggest experiment ATLAS, which consists of around 3’000 physicists. Her brilliant career is encouraging for the whole female scientists’ community.
