Dr. Asja Derviškadić receives the EPFL PhD thesis Distinction in EE

We are proud to announce that our colleague Dr. Asja Derviškadić is awarded the EPFL PhD thesis Distinction in Electrical Engineering 2019 for her recent PhD thesis. Asja's thesis supervised by Prof. Dr. Mario Paolone (EPFL-DESL) was on "Synchronized Sensing for Wide-Area Situational Awareness of Electrical Grids in Non-Stationary Operating Conditions".
This distinction is awarded to only the 8 % best PhD theses of each EPFL Doctoral Program which makes this achievement even more important.
