Dr. Elkady attended the 2017 NASSC Steel Conference in San Antonio, USA. The title of his presentation was on "Stability Requirements of Deep Steel Wide-Flange Columns under Cyclic Loading". Collaborative research work with McGill University researchers (Prof. Colin Rogers and Mohammad Motallebi) related to the stability of extended beam-to-girder shear tab connections under gravity induced shear force was also presented by Prof. Colin Rogers.
