Double Deck – Proactive solution to anticipated noise disturbances

This week, we are pleased to welcome Professor Jamie Paik and her assistants to our studios. They are here to record the lectures for their upcoming ME-410 and ME-420 courses in advance.

These recordings form part of a proactive solution to anticipated noise disturbances caused by the Double Deck construction project, which will affect their usual teaching space. To ensure that students can continue to learn in optimal conditions, the courses will be made available online. Students will have the flexibility to follow the lectures from home or from another quiet space on the EPFL campus.

The Center for Digital Education is proud to support this effort by helping instructors adapt their teaching methods to maintain quality and accessibility during campus improvements.
