Daniel Kressner named SIAM fellow
Professor Daniel Kressner, head of the Chair of Numerical Algorithms and High-Performance Computing (ANCHP) has been named in the 2022 Class of SIAM Fellows.
Professor Kressner has been chosen as one of the 26 members of the 2022 Class of Fellows for "his contributions in numerical linear and multilinear algebra and scientific computing".
The SIAM Fellows Program honors SIAM members who have made outstanding contributions to applied and computational mathematics.
The "Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics" (SIAM) is a big community of more than 14000 applied mathematicians, engineers and computer scientists. SIAM has been founded in 1952 to foster strong interactions between mathematics and other scientific and technological communities through membership activities, publication of journals and books, conferences and prizes.
