A number of curriculum changes in various sections will take effect at the start of the school year in September.

In Mathematics, the Master’s for Teaching will no longer be offered; it will be replaced by a teaching specialization that can be completed as part of the Master’s in Mathematics.

In Computer Science and Communication Systems, the number of credits required to earn a Master’s in Computer Science will go from 90 to 120; the minor in Computer Engineering will be dropped; and the specialization in Information Security will become a specialization in Cybersecurity.

In Microengineering, students will be offered a new Master’s in Robotics and a new minor in Photonics.

In Life Sciences and Technology, the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Life Sciences and Technology will become Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Life Science Engineering, and the Master’s in Bioengineering will be folded into the Master’s in Life Sciences.

In Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a new minor in the Internet of Things will be offered.
