CSF Award for young scientists

At the occasion of the conference "Frontiers in Nanophotonics", Philippe Roelli received the CSF sponsored award for young scientists for the best presentation at the conference (ex-aequo with Jan Mertens). His poster was entitled "Molecular Optomechanics: amplification of vibrations in SERS" and showcased a new activity in optomechanics conducted in the lab of Prof. Kippenberg, exploring the physics emerging from the interaction between molecular systems and optomechanical cavities.
