The Bioimaging and Optics Platform (BIOP) is pleased to announce that the “Advanced Light-Microscopy for life sciences” course is open for applications.

The focus of this course will be on the state-of-the-art microscopy techniques mainly relevant for students in biology/life sciences. An essential part of this course will be spent on demonstrating and explaining how challenging questions in biology/life science can be addressed using light microscopy. It will include advanced concepts like time-lapse imaging, fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET), Fluorescence Lifetime microscopy (FLIM), FRAP and high/super resolution techniques like structured illumination, STED and localization techniques.

The course is open to everyone however a preference will be given to PhD students.

The course will take place from 22 to 26 of August 2022.

Deadline for sending an application is July, 1st 2022.
In order to apply for this course please fill out the following form.
