The Civil Engineering Section is looking forward to working with its delegates, especially for the Teaching Commission
We wish them much success in their new functions!

Here is the presentation of each of the new delegates:

BA1/2

My name is Arnaud Tièche, I'm 18 years old and I'm in my first year of a Bachelor's degree. I've never been a class representative before, but I've always listened to my classmates and I've never been shy to say what needed to be said. Otherwise, outside of class, I like to play the piano and play sports (don't refer to the picture, it's misleading).

Arnaud Tièche

My name is Nathan Kabas Kuroiwa, I'm 18 years old and I'm new in BA1. This is my first term as a delegate at EPFL, but I have some experience from my high school delegate years. I would describe myself as willing and approachable, and I hope to be a strong support for my fellow students and my chapter during this first semester.

BA3/4

Hello, my name is Caroline Blazy. I am very dynamic and smiling, always ready for a new challenge, that's why this year I decided to represent the BA3 with Jean Devergnies. When I am not at the Rolex or in the GC building, I spend my time reading, watching a series or having a good time at Sat.

Hi, I'm Jean Devergnies, I'm 19 years old and I come from the north of France. At EPFL I am a delegate in BA 3 and I am also part of the coaching association. My life outside my studies is punctuated by cycling, scouting and good beers with friends!

BA 5/6

Hello,
My name is Amaury Annoye, I am 20 years old and I am in BA5. From a Belgian father and a Lebanese mother I am called the Belgian-Lebanese! I'm always smiling and I'm always ready to listen to all my friends' remarks and suggestions.
I hope to be able to help the class to keep this good atmosphere.

Hello, I'm Julien Ars. This is the second year that I am the interlocutor between our teachers and my classmates. I'm also on the teaching committee, and since last year in the Civil Engineering Students Association as Vice-president last year, and as Travel Manager this year. Do not hesitate to contact me!

MA 1/2/3/PDM

My name is Aline Bönzli and I am a student in MA 1 in the specialization of structures where I am particularly interested in wood construction. This is my second year as a delegate and this year I have the honor to work in a team with Gustave Pellier who is also an experienced delegate. Outside of my studies I am involved in the Diversity Office of ENAC, as well as in the Swiss-German Association (ASA). My hobbies are alpine skiing and sports in general, but I can also be found in the kitchen trying out new recipes for my friends and family.

My name is Gustave Pellier and I am this year's delegate for the MA1's alongside Aline Bönzli. It's the second year that I'm holding this role, so I have some experience! I have at heart to represent our class, to help them as much as possible and to defend our interests when necessary. At the same time, I am involved in the literary association PLUME as president while doing various sports, including climbing.

My name is Ziad Sahlab, an MA3 student with a specialization in structures. I am interested in the rehabilitation of historic structures and the use of imaging methods in materials testing. Outside of school, I am also a big fan of rugby and hiking. This is my first time as a delegate, and I am very excited to represent you in the academic body. In addition, I have the chance to work with a team of experienced delegates in the chapter, from whom I hope to learn a lot.

My name is Roberto Seixas, I'm 23 years old and I'm originally from Valais. I am currently a student in MA3, specializing in geotechnics. Outside of my studies, I like to go for bike rides or spend time with my friends in Sat. I have already been a delegate for the last two years and I hope to continue to bring my experience to improve the study conditions in the section. Having also been elected as a CERES delegate, I hope to be able to bring up the more general issues.
