Martin has been a PhD candidate in IVRL since September 2022. Before starting a PhD, Martin graduated from his engineering studies at CentraleSupelec and his Master's in Computer Science at EPFL.

Martin worked on "Scene relighting with Deep Learning methods" as part of our Computational Photography class. He also colloborated with Deblina "Estimating Image Depth in the Comics Domain", and their work was accepted into Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV 2022). Martin passed his EPFL Master Thesis on "Classification of objects on hyperspectral images with Deep Learning techniques" in the industry, with shared supervision from our lab. During his first year of PhD as Fellowship student of the EDIC program, he did two semester projects in our lab, working on the following research topics: "Understanding computational aesthetics" and "Engagement-driven manipulation of commercials with Machine Learning".

Martin's areas of interest are Computational Aesthetics, overlapping with Computation and Language, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Generative Models.

The lab wishes him good luck in his research.
