Advanced design methods and non-ideal gas lubrication applied to aerodynamic bearings
On March 13th, Eliott has successfully defended his PhD thesis. He has experimentally validated a 50 years old theory for gas lubricated bearings for the first time and he has given experimental proof of the occurrence of condensation in a gas bearing fluid film.
