Congratulations Lisa!

At the 21st meeting of the NeuroLéman Network and Doctoral Schools held in Geneva (5th September, 2025), Lisa Watt, PhD student in our lab, was awarded the best presentation in the category "Basic Neurosciences"!
Her talk was titled "Epigenetic mechanisms of remote fear extinction" which was awarded by the Jean Falk-Vairant Foundation for the best basic neuroscience oral presentation.
The NeuroLéman Network unites neuroscientist and clinicians from the Lac Léman region (UNIL, EPFL, CHUV, UNIGE, HUG and UNIFR) promoting innovative and interdisciplinary research to better understand brain function in health and disease. The annual meeting provides a platform with talks by national and international speakers, and short talks and poster presentations of PhD candidates from a varied neuroscientific background.
