Congratulations Dr Spada!

We are very pleased to share that Alessandra Spada received the PhD degree on February 6, 2026 at the occasion of her public defense for her PhD thesis entitled "Functionalization of harmonic nanoparticles for active cancer targeting".
The research project of Alessandra was highly interdisciplinary involving collaborations with the groups of Prof. Yannick Mugnier (SYMME, Université Savoie Mont Blanc, France), Prof. Dario Diviani (Department of Biomedical Sciences, Univeristy of Lausanne) and Prof. Luigi Bonacina (Nonlinear BioImaging Lab, University of Geneva). We are very grateful for the contributions of all teams who were key to the great achievements of the project.
Alessandra is PhD graduate number 16 from our group and the GBF Team wishes her a brilliant and exciting future career!
