Congratulation to Andrea Cioffi for his Master thesis
Andrea Cioffi successfully did his Master’s thesis final presentation on 18.10.2023 at LAMD. His Master’s thesis defense will be hosted at his home university Politecnico di Turino.
During his Master's thesis, Andrea focused on the examination of heat transfer effects in a newly developed small-scale high-temperature compressor-turbine unit within our laboratory, under the supervision of PhD student Victoria He. His objectives included the establishment of a 1D heat model using Simscape and subsequent validation through a comprehensive suite of analytical tools, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and initial experimental data. We thank him for the great cooperation and wish him all the best with his future academic and professional endeavors.
