Aida Cameselle Molares completed her PhD Thesis focusing on potential 2D effects on the 2D delamination in laminates and 2D debonding in face sheet/core interfaces of sandwich structures that are not captured by 1D fracture mechanics tests.
The PhD thesis entitled « Two‐dimensional crack growth in FRP laminates and sandwich panels » was defended on April 2, 2019 in front of a jury composed of Prof. Thomas Keller and Dr. Anastasios P. Vassilopoulos (CCLab, thesis supervisors), Prof. Leif A. Carlsson (Florida Atlantic University, external examiner), Prof. João P.
