Collaboration with PIXE featured in “24 heures”

Archeologist Tobias Hofstetter’s ongoing work on human remains gets media coverage in local newspaper.
He talks about his assessment of skeletons from old cemeteries around the Lausanne region, and how some skeletal markers may give insights on respiratory illnesses and airborne diseases in the population from 15th to 20th century. This project is led in close collaboration with the PIXE platform at EPFL.
