Closing of underground and parking
The construction of EPFL's Conference Center started in January 10th, 2011, and will cause important changes to traffic, parking and pedestrian circulation for it's duration (2011-2013).
As of on January 31:
- closing of the underpass on the northern side, the access to the quays M1-EPFL will be maintained,
- new access to EPFL Triaudes by the Avenue Favre through a prolongation of the existing sidewalk,
- suppression of the parking spaces around the building site,
As of on February 14:
- removal of the Favre carpark,
It should be noted that around sixty places will be made available, as of February 21, in the underground car park beneath the Life Sciences' building.
