Prof. Nakatsuka and PhD students represent the CHEMINA Lab at NanoBioTech-Montreux this past week
Prof. Nakatsuka and PhD students Annina, Sandra, and Alexandra attended the 2025 meeting of NanoBioTech-Montreux last week to share recent work from the CHEMINA lab. This annual conference on micro and nanoscale technologies for the biosciences covered a wide range of interesting research subjects, including microfluidics, organ-on-chip platforms, biosensors, imaging, and more. Annina gave an oral presentation about double-barrel aptamer-functionalized nanopipettes, while Alexandra and Sandra presented posters on the development of their PhD projects on aptamer-functionalized transistors. The lab was especially proud that Sandra won an award for the "Best Question" for the best question asked by a young researcher during the oral sessions!
Finally, the lab was thankful to (spontaneously!) host Prof. Ashleigh Theberge at our space at Campus Biotech in Geneva for a visit and to further discuss her work on bioanalytical systems for translational research. We hope that the NanoBioTech-Montreux conference leads to many exciting new research directions and collaborations!
