Chaymae Samir is a former master student at LEMR.
Chaymae Samir is a former Master student of LEMR. She pursued her master under the supervision of Prof. Marie Violay (LEMR) and Prof. Jean Francois Molinari (LSMS), and the collaboration of Enrico Milanese (LSMS), Felipe Orellana (LEMR), and Ramin Aghababaei (LSMS). Her master thesis tackled, from an experimental and numerical approach, the effect of surface roughness on the fault stability behaviour of shales.
The prize is awarded by the Civil Engineering Institute of EPFL. Their recipients are selected among students who were supervised by two different laboratories of the Civil Engineering Institute.
