Felix presented our work on applying FAIR principles to hybrid models.

The event “Advancing Open Research Data (ORD) Practices: Collaboration and Innovation in the ETH Domain”, organized by EPFL Open Research, brought together experts from different institutions within the ETH Domain to discuss how to promote ORD practices, and to showcase the achievements of the ORD Programme.

Felix presented our work on the FRAME Project, where we are establishing a protocol to apply FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles to hybrid models. These models, which combine physics and machine learning, are increasingly popular in the hydrology and Earth Science communities. The FRAME protocol ensures that researchers can easily find, use, and share hybrid models.

Inspiring presentations and insightful discussions with other participants provided valuable ideas for further refining the FRAME Protocol and ensuring that our research remains reproducible, open, and FAIR.
