Celebrate 2017 with new publications from LIMNO!
Papers in IOP and RSC journals are released online this week. Click the link for more information.
Dr. Néstor Guijarro’s paper entitled “CuInGaS2 photocathodes treated with SbX3 (X = Cl, I): the effect of the halide on solar water splitting performance” is now available online and will be published in a Special issue on Solar Fuels in the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics. Here Dr. Guijarro shows how replacing chlorine by iodine leads to CIGS photocathodes that deliver photocurrents of 5 mA cm^−2 (at 0 V versus RHE) and a turn-on voltage of 0.5 V versus RHE without charge extracting overlayer nor any sign of deterioration during stability test. Another paper (the final one?) of Dr. Andrea Gasperini (now at Stanford University) has also been released online this week in the Journal Polymer Chemistry. This communication entitled “Semiconducting alternating multi-block copolymers via a di-functionalized macromonomer approach” describes a new method to prepare all-conjugated block co-polymers for optoelectronic applications, and demonstrates charge carrier mobility and self-assembly properties in the prototype. Further development of this class of polymers is expected to lead to more robust and tunable photovoltaics and light emitting diodes. Follow the link to the full text.
