Congratulations to Aman, who successfully passed his candidacy exam
His research deals with herringbone-grooved journal bearings, focusing on the flow physics and particle transport inside them.
Using both numerics and experiments, the aim is to better understand the limits of the modelling assumptions commonly used in this field and to strengthen the predictive tools available for the design of such bearings.
Congratulations to Aman on this important milestone, and best wishes for the next stages of his PhD!
