Interested in developing digital educational resources, experiment with new technologies in your teaching, or pilot AI-based supports? Submit project proposals by 31 October 2025.

What is DRIL?

The DRIL fund (Digital Resources for Instruction and Learning) supports EPFL teachers in developing and sharing innovative digital teaching resources. It promotes projects that integrate new technologies into teaching, with the goal of enhancing learning through feedback, experimentation, and open educational materials.

Who can apply & what kinds of projects?

All EPFL teaching staff can apply, individually or in collaboration. Eligible projects include improving or creating digital course materials, developing AI-based or interactive tools, producing MOOCs or computational modules, and piloting new teaching approaches.

Timeline & Application

  • Deadline for submission: 31 October 2025
  • Before submitting, it is recommended to inform your section director and contact the Center for Digital Education / CEDE (Patrick Jermann) for guidance on your proposal.
