Bowen Du joins HOBEL group as a new PostDoc
Bowen Du joined HOBEL in October 2022 as a postdoctoral researcher. He received his PhD degree from University of Toronto, Canada and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tongji University, China.
Bowen’s research has been focused on the impact of indoor air quality (IAQ) on health and performance. His previous work explored cognitive responses to indoor aerosol exposures and physiological responses to cooking emissions. He also worked extensively on assessing the primary and secondary effects of IAQ improvement strategies such as filtration and ventilation. Mostly recently, Bowen is working on developing machine learning based methods for characterising indoor environmental quality and its impact on building occupants.
