Bio-inspired surfaces created with light @ SCIENTASTIC event

Thanks to the (huge!) help of students Louisa and Marion, LPAC's Feyza Karasu Kılıç showed the visitors some examples and applications of bioinspired surfaces. They could explain to the public how nature exploits the microstructure of various surfaces (moth eyes, plant leaves...), and how it can be exploited at the laboratory and industrial scale in daily life applications.
