Negar Rezvany is a PhD student at the Transport and Mobility Laboratory. She has received yesterday the Best Paper Award at the 12th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART).

The paper “Household-level choice-set generation and parameter estimation in activity-based models” by Negar Rezvany, Tim Hillel and Michel Bierlaire, has received the Best Paper Award at the 12th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART), held on June 18-20, 2024 in Aalto University, Espoo, Finland.

This paper marks a milestone in the development of advanced activity-based models at the household level. These models account for the various constraints households face when organizing activities and corresponding trips for all members. They are crucial for designing and assessing policies aimed at modifying mobility patterns, with the objective of decarbonization.
