Professor Volkan Cevher, head of the Laboratory for Information and Inference Systems (LIONS), and PhD student Fabian Latorre received the Best Paper at the 2ndFrontiers Adversarial Machine Learning Workshop for their paper titled "Adversarial Training Should Be Cast as a Non-Zero-Sum Game". The program committee was deeply impressed by the novelty and quality of the paper in advancing the algorithmic foundations of adversarial ML. It pushes the boundaries of the field and has the potential to shape the future of adversarial ML.

The second edition of the event, which was held in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 28th, explored the new frontiers of Adversarial Machine Learning in theoretical understanding, scalable algorithm and system designs, and scientific development that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries, as well as trends, challenges, and opportunities of AdvML when facing today's or future large foundational models.
