Be part of one of the biggest AI events in Africa!

We are pleased to announce that AMLD Africa is now part of the EXAF Centre, a joint initiative between EPFL and African partners to promote scientific innovation on the African continent. This integration marks an important step for the international reach of AMLD Africa.
After two successful editions, the last of which was held in Nairobi in 2024, Applied Machine Learning Days Africa (AMLD Africa) is preparing for its 3rd edition, which will take place at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. This must-attend event brings together researchers, major technology companies and African innovators to discuss advances and applications of AI on the continent.
The organisers are currently looking for volunteers to join the team and contribute to the success of this new edition. The profiles sought will be able to support the logistics of the event, participate in the creation of the scientific programme or strengthen partnerships in order to broaden the impact of the conference.
The team is looking for volunteers in three key areas:
- Logistics
- Content
- Partnerships
Applications are open until 26 September 2025. Interested individuals are invited to apply now and, ideally, be based in Switzerland to collaborate regularly with the core team.
