RECLAIM, an exhibition concept devoloped by lapa (EPFL) by appointment of the Ministry of Culture of Bahrain and which won the Golden Lion for best National Participation at the Venice Architectural Beinnale in 2010, is now participating in the Architectural Environments of Tomorrow Exhibition held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo (MOT), 29. October 2011 until 15. January 2012.

The RECLAIM installation comprises of a fishermen's hut (Hut 28, Muharraq) which was dismantled from the shores of Muharraq in late July 2011. Exhibited in the main hall of the MOT, it is situated in proximity with a large scale model of the fishermen's villages which were destroyed by the Great East earthquake of March 2011, highlighting the fragility of coastal settlements across the world.
