Bachelor applications

The number of students currently at EPFL or applying for our Bachelor's and Master's programs continues to rise.
This represents an ongoing challenge when it comes to planning classes and processing applications. Our task is further complicated by the need to apply changes to the School's regulations, such as the introduction of the Review Course and the reforms introduced to the first-year curriculum. As a result, the workload for processing Bachelor applications and preparing the 2018-19 degree plans and schedules was greater than in past years. What’s more, the utilization rate for our medium-sized and large auditoriums is now 80%; Senior Management and the VPE are working on this to make sure that student numbers do not overtake the School’s physical capacity.
