Architectural competition: mountain youth hostel in Poland

The international architectural competition for a "Youth Hostel on the top of Jeżowa Woda with a restaurant and panoramic terraces" is organised by the IDEANOVA Foundation and is open to beginners and experienced architects from all over the world.
The subject of the competition is the design of a tourist hostel, which will be built on the Jeżowa Woda mountain, in the Beskid Wyspowy in the beautiful wooded part of the Western Beskids (between the Raba Valley and the Sądecka Valley). The design should include panoramic terraces and space for a restaurant.
The facility should have a modern character, with a future-orientated shape, while remaining in harmony with the surrounding nature. The highest floor will be located above the treetops and will be visible from all nearby peaks. The municipality of Limanowa has issued Spatial Planning Conditions valid for the construction of a shelter, the crowning achievement of the competition will be not only a cash prize, but also an opportunity to cooperate in the construction of the facility.
The regulations are available in six languages: Polish, English, Italian, Spanish, German and French.
The jury is composed of specialists in the field of architecture and art, as well as the authorities of the region. The competition organiser is offering the main prize of EUR 5 000, as well as a public prize of EUR 1 000. There are also additional prizes.
To participate, you must register for the competition by March 31, 2023 and then submit your project by April 30, 2023. The competition will take place in two rounds, including a public vote.
The results of the jury deliberations and online voting will be announced at a Gala on July 27, 2023.
