This coming semester, Olivier de Weck, MIT and EPFL professor, will teach the fundamentals in systems engineering to master students of both institutions. Seize the opportunity and register !

For the first time, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) course entitled “Fundamentals in Systems Engineering” will be open to EPFL master students this coming semester. Given by Olivier de Weck, Aeronautics and Astronautics professor for both institutions, the course will be accessible every Friday on campus by teleconference.
This is an introduction to systems engineering using the classical V-model. Topics include stakeholder analysis, requirements definition, concept selection, design definition and optimization, system integration and verification and validation. This class is part of the EPFL minor in Systems Engineering.
