Alicja Wasik Roelofsen is the winner of the 2020 EDRS Distinction
Alicja Wasik Roelofsen won the 2020 EDRS Thesis Distinction for her pioneering contribution to distributed social robotics
Alicja Roelofsen (born Wasik)’s PhD thesis has been rewarded with the annual Thesis Distinction assigned by the Doctoral Program in Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems (EDRS); only 8% of the annual theses produced at EPFL receive such distinction from one of the currently offered 21 doctoral programs at EPFL. Alicja Wasik wins this prestigious recognition for her outstanding and pioneering contributions to the fields of multi-robot navigation and human-robot interaction, and for opening new perspectives in both these fields.
