Ali Garjani passed his candidacy exam

Ali Garjani is a PhD student in EDIC at EPFL since September 2025. Before starting his PhD, he earned his Master's degree in Computer Vision from EPFL. Ali completed his Bachelor's degree in Sharif University of Technology.

Ali's research focuses on multimodal foundation models and computer vision, with a particular interest in building a theoretical understanding of how different representations of reality relate to one another.

The IVRL lab welcomes Ali into the team and wishes him good luck in his research.
