Aldo Brandi joins the lab!
As a postdoc in the lab, Aldo will bring his expertise in urban climate modeling and boundary layer dynamics in complex terrains.
From the depths of the solid Earth to the turbulent motions of the Atmosphere, Aldo started his investigation of physical dynamics from the University of Bari (Italy) where he got his BSc and MSc in Geological and Geophysical Sciences. He then moved to the desert of the Southwestern U.S., to get his PhD in Geography at Arizona State University where he specialized in Regional and Urban Climate Modeling.
As a postdoc in the lab, he will explore the impact of urban environments on boundary layer dynamics with a focus on complex terrain circulations and the potential for renewable energy applications.
Welcome Aldo!
