Adjustments of Innosuisse international funding programmes in 2025

In view of the expected framework budget for 2025-2028, Innosuisse has announced the most important adjustments for international projects, in 2025.

In the last three years, Innosuisse has provided above-average funding for international projects due to the transitional measures for Switzerland's non-association with the Horizon Europe programme. In view of the expected framework budget for 2025-2028, Innosuisse aims to focus its international cooperation from 2025 onwards. This means that the different international support schemes will be continue, but the number of calls for projects will be slightly reduced.

The most important adjustments for 2025 are listed below. Details will be published on the relevant Innosuisse web pages on an ongoing basis:

  • Eurostars: no participation in Eurostars Call 8 (spring 2025) and continued participation as usual from Eurostars Call 9 (autumn 2025) onwards.
  • Eureka: participation in Eureka clusters will be limited to the SMART cluster (advanced manufacturing) in 2025. Eureka network projects can be submitted at any time.
  • Bilateral cooperation: the bilateral call for projects with Brazil will be suspended in 2025. The calls with Korea and Germany (IraSME) will take place in 2025. No final decision has been taken on a call for projects with the United Kingdom in 2025.
  • EU partnerships: no participation in the call of the partnership Driving Urban Transition 2024 (start in late September 2024). Innosuisse will participate in the call of the partnership Transforming Health and Care Systems in 2025 (start end of 2024).
