A rundown of EPFL opening hours as the holiday countdown begins

Here is some key information about the opening hours of EPFL services during the holiday period. More details are available online on each service’s webpage.
From the evening of Friday, 22 December 2017 until the evening of Tuesday, 2 January 2018, doors will be in “weekend” mode (Camipro card required for access). All necessary measures will be taken to reduce energy use to a minimum. Normal activities will resume on Wednesday, 3 January 2018.
First aid: Non-stop service 24 hours a day on 115 or 021 693 3000.

Food services: The end-of-year opening hours for campus food outlets are available at restauration.epfl.ch.
Health Point: Closed from 5:30pm on Friday, 22 December until Wednesday, 3 January, when it will be open from 8:30am until 12pm. The normal schedule (8:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 5:30pm) will resume on Monday, 8 January. >>> EPFL Health Point

Postal service (delivery and collection): The post office will be open as normal (9am to 5pm) until Friday, 22 December, and from 9am to 12:30pm from Wednesday, 27 to Friday, 29 December. Normal opening times (9am to 5pm) will resume on Wednesday, 3 January. At postal stations, the last delivery and collection of the year will be at 3:30pm on Friday, 22 December. Research units: The Research Office, the Technology Transfer Office and the Equipment & Centers Management Office will be closed from 4pm on Friday, 22 December until 8am on Wednesday, 3 January. >>> Research units

Student Services: The Student Services desk will have reduced opening hours during the holiday period. From Monday, 18 to Friday, 22 December it will be open from 9am to 6pm. The desk will be closed on Monday, 25 and Tuesday, 26 December. It will be open from 10am to 3pm from Wednesday, 27 to Friday, 29 December. It will be closed on Monday, 1 and Tuesday, 2 January. Travel agency (EPFL- CWT): Closed from 5pm on Friday, 22 December until 8:30am on Wednesday, 3 January. In the event of an emergency, calls to 058 322 24 30 will be diverted and dealt with by CWT’s 24-hour European service. >>> CWT at EPFL
UNIL/EPFL sports services: Classes will end at 12pm on Friday, 22 December. The Villa des sports and CSS secretariats will be closed from 11am on Friday, 22 December until Monday, 8 January, when normal opening times will resume. The Dorigny University Sports Center will be open from 8am to 7pm from 3 to 7 January for individual sports activities. It will be open until 9pm starting on 8 January. Throughout the holiday period, heating will be in “normal” mode. Please be aware that even the smallest actions can help us to save energy. If you're taking time off, please switch off as much equipment (including computers) as possible and turn down the heating in unused premises wherever practicable. The caretakers will do their utmost to ensure that these instructions are implemented.
