A new method to characterise neuronal metabolism

An interdisciplinary collaboration between the Bertarelli Foundation Gene Therapy Platform, the group of Professor Anders Meibom and the Biological Electron Microscopy Facility has explored how alpha-synuclein disrupts metabolic processes within neurons - a key event in the progression of Parkinson’s disease.
