Marilyne Andersen was given the opportunity to talk about the analysis performed by OCULIGHT dynamics on the Living Places design proposed by EFFEKT Arkitekter within the actual house prototype, that was built in Copenhagen's Railway District named ‘Jernbanebyen’ by VELUX. The podcast was produced as part of the Grand Opening of the VELUX Build for Life - Living Places Copenhagen events.
OCULIGHT dynamics is a LIPID spin-off that Marilyne Andersen co-founded together with María Lovísa Ámundadóttir and Siobhan Rockcastle that focuses on the psycho-physiological effects of daylight on building occupants. The podcast explains the approach adopted by OCULIGHT dynamics in its analysis of the Living Places project, focused on people and well-being in relation to daylight and articulated around different perspectives, from vitality and emotion to comfort and behavior. Its recording within the house itself allows to get a more direct grasp of the translation of these concepts into an indoor experience.
