2016–2017 first-year exam results

The results of the 2016–2017 first-year exam and review course indicated the following:
- The exam pass rate was 44% (based on the number of students at 1 November), in line with prior years.
- The new review course, which was held for the first time following the winter exam session, did not have a significant effect on the first-year pass rate.
- The pass rate for the review course was 60%. If we include students who dropped out during the course, the pass rate falls to 52%
