    16.05.18 — Photovoltaics and Thin Film Electronics Laboratory From April 30th to May 4th 2018, the Swiss television SRF1 (in German) brought a series in its news magazine "Schweiz aktuell" about the future of electricity in Switzerland. Prof. Christophe Ballif commented on the role of solar energy and presented its potential as a renewable electricity source. Additionally, the Swiss radio RTS1 (in French) broadcasted a report on crossing the Arctic Ocean by a boat driven only by ultra-performing solar panels developed by CSEM.
