When the traffic evaporates

Engineer in the mobility consulting firm Transitec, Pauline Hosotte, has just defended her thesis at EPFL on the evaporation of traffic. It is shown that when a new development constrains traffic, part of it, rather than going elsewhere, literally disappears.
