Managing a news channel gives you the possibility to include the news of your laboratory or your service on actu.epfl.ch, the EPFL online journal. Users can subscribe to it and receive an email notification for each new publication. On the lab website, you can add an automatic display of your articles, sorting them by keyword, and using several layouts.
Fall of 2018, some improvements for the on your 'news' management tool:
- to embed a video from Switchtube, the 'Youtube' of the Swiss High Schools
- to make slideshow and change the order of these images
- to know the url of your article before its publication
- to publish your article directly in your different channels (if you manage several)
- to manage your subscriptions (the list of subscribers to your own channels and the channels to which you subscribe)
