Viviana Gonzalez joins the HOBEL team

Viviana González joined the HOBEL group as a doctoral assistant in 2018. She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Building System from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from her home country Ecuador. After finishing her Bachelor studies, Viviana worked for two years in several architectural projects which gave her more experience in the field. After she decided to pursue a master degree in ETH Zurich where she acquired a deeper knowledge of building systems with a special focus on renewable energies and energy efficiency in buildings. During her master studies, she worked on projects related to LCA, energy analysis and digital fabrication. Her master thesis was on the Integration of Photovoltaic/thermal (PVT) panels in building envelopes, where she developed a design and energy analysis tools to facilitate the integration of solar technologies during the design phase. In the HOBEL group, her main focus is the indoor air quality in building with special attention on the personal exposure monitoring and assessment of pollutants.
