Transactional Memory Stack.

EPFL (LPD - Distributed Programming Laboratory ; Prof. Guerraoui Rachid) jointly with the other partners (AMD, Red Hat, Tel-Aviv University, University of Neuchatel, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Technical Universities of Chalmers and Dresden) is releasing a fully integrated stack (including software and hardware) to support Transactional Memory. As an example, one of the achieved goal was for GCC (Gnu C Compiler) to incorporate transaction-support to allow programmers to write transactions in their concurrent programs. Download
