Join us to celebrate TraCE 2nd anniversary on Thursday, June the 17th at CM2. This year we want to highlight our results with a Research day spanning our major ongoing research projects in the fields of transportation modeling, logistics and travel behavior analysis.

After two years of existence, the Transportation Center (TraCE), with almost 40 affiliated laboratories, is proud of having achieved a very good track record regarding research in the fields of transportation and mobility within EPFL. Many collaborations have been established with both industry partners and public entities, leading to a dozen research projects currently underway, and about thirty others in negotiation.

We celebrate this second anniversary with a Research Day, where a panorama of the concrete results of our projects will be highlighted. The day will be opened by Prof. Benoît Deveaud-Plédran, Dean of Research, who will present the new perspectives for research at EPFL.

Doctoral students working in the framework of projects initiated by TraCE will thus have the opportunity to present their work. Sessions will revolve around three major themes: Intelligence in transportation, Frontiers in logistics and Moving about in the city of the future. Please upload the attached image to get the detailed program. A poster session will also be open during the Standing lunch.

We regard this "Research day" as an opportunity to inform the EPFL community more widely on the added value that transportation research brings to our school. Thus this event benefits from the joint support of both VPIV and VPAA.
