Industrial research collaboration
The Power Electronics Laboratory has entered into a research collaboration with Hitachi Energy Research on a research topic related to design and optimization of high-power DC-DC converters for MVDC power distribution networks. Numerous high-power applications are considering MVDC networks as important part of future energy systems. The research project will explore the design space together with relevant constraints, aiming to develop and demonstrate a family of advanced conversion technologies.
