The SERVASTIC project provides new tools for tele-medicine

The project SERVASTIC, funded in the framework of the INTERREG IV (France-Switzerland) programme, aimed at developing new tools for improving tele-medicine. This project has been successfully completed a few days ago. See our demonstration video (in French).

The partners of this project, namely the EPFL (Signal Processing Lab 5 - LTS5), the CHUV and Atracsys SA on the Swiss side, Covalia, The University of Franche-Comté and the University Hospital of Besançon, on the French side, have been working for two years on the development on new techniques for helping the remote acquisition and analysis of ultrasound images on the one hand, and on the remote processing, on dedicated servers, of medical images in a collaborative framework on the other hand.
